From my history as a house painter I became interested in colors. A painted wall or window frame in any color has the power to evoke associations with subjective experiences. In other words: it has an influence on our feelings from day to day.
I  work with these subjective experiences in paint by placing them in different contexts. Meaning by changing the experience due to adapting the location or by showing the viewer a different perspective on the context itself. When a viewer is interacting with the color, the friction between object and subject starts. This by using the daily way of painting to reflect our surroundings.
